Ah, the dreaded cold and flu season is upon us. Now – stop thinking that! NOW! Thoughts are powerful and they create our reality.

The more energy we give to something the more likely it is to happen. So with so many people saying that now “Cold season and flu season” that it becomes a reality. But….it doesn’t have to be that way.

I realize that many of you reading this are not like that. You keep your immune systems strong, you eat the right foods (well, mostly). But if you have young kids or you or your spouse work in a place where you are in contact with a lot of people you are being exposed to a lot of bugs (and not the kind that crawl). These are airborne. You can get rid of your cold naturally.

So get your thoughts in check (believe you are so healthy that nothing can get you) and of course do your best with food and drink to strengthen your immune system. There you go – that is the secret. Not that complicated really.

It really scares me is that so many people believe they are going to get sick and then when they do they go to their doctors for help and end up with some kind of drug – either prescription or over the counter stuff. They trust their doctor and believe he/she knows their best and only wants to help. What they don’t realize is that doctors can only prescribe and recommend what they are allowed to – drugs.

The flu shot is another thing I personally don’t agree with and it is so sad that so many people are pretty much forced to take that – the elderly and people who work in the health care system. Really – no personal choice.

I am so glad all of you know that this is not necessary and that cold and flu can be stopped and prevented naturally by increasing your intake of highly nutritious and high alkaline foods and drinks.
