It is easy to eat more raw foods in the summer but when the weather cools we tend to want the comforting, warming, cooked foods. Hey, me too! Because some vitamins and minerals are lost when you cook food it is still important to get some highly nutritious raw foods. I tend to eat both all year long and find a great balance in the winter.
